2023: a hot year, though maybe nothing like what we will be facing in the future.

2023 was the hottest year on record since the 1940s. And for a while now it has been clear the the world's govermnets are not going to get their shit together to solve this crisis. You just have to look at who ran the last COP 28, or the next one to know this.

Clearly this professor also believes little will be done to combat cliamte change in the short term, and that will have consequences.
