This stat is nothing new of course, every year brings more and more bad climate news. And it has been clear for a while now that the the world's governments are not going to get their shit together to solve this crisis.

You just have to look at who ran the last COP 28, or the next one to know this.


This has been clear for some time, especially aftet Trump rejected the Paris climate accords in 2017 and only Co2 producing neoliberals, like Hilary Clinton and Mike Bloomberg, came out of the woodwork to defend the meetings.


One academic's response to the news was to note 2023 may eventually be one of the coldest this century.
